With more than fifty years of experience as the High Priest of the Bricket Wood Coven, Zachary was well-known in the Wiccan community. He was an important figure in the Pagan world due to his extensive knowledge of the Craft. Influenced by Crowley’s Gnostic Mass, he and his partner Jean co-founded “The Companions of the Rainbow Bridge” in 1977. Since 1988, Cox has been a proactive participant in the Pagan Federation.
Cox performed a key role in creating the furnishings and rituals for the Gnostic Masses that took place in his house. During the media frenzy surrounding the “satanic panic,” he actively engaged journalists by explaining the genuine nature of Wicca and paganism, demonstrating his commitment to dispelling myths about these practices.
